Aid into Gaza: as much information as possible,
from as many sources as possible,
as quickly as possible
This is a website, maintained at the Israeli Embassy in London, which aims to give as much information as possible on all the international aid being sent into Gaza.
We’ll post updates from Israel’s COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) office, OCHA, UNRWA, USAID, ICRC (International Red Cross Red Crescent) and WHO information, as well as individual and group actions from the grassroots ,like the Free Gaza Movement.
We also hope to have guest columns from Palestinian, Israeli and third party commentators discussing the situation and how effective the transmission of aid really is.
This is not a political site. It is merely a space for distribution of information and impartial facts, and we will host informed information and insights from all sides. IRIN reports that a large number of NGOs and aid agencies are opening phone lines for Gazan residents to call for free psychological support.
Sawa, a Ramallah-based Palestinian organisation, says their line is receiving 200-250 calls a day and their 14 staff are working around the clock.

UNICEF, Shatil, CLEC and the WHO are also all operating phone lines for Gazans and southern Israelis.
